Job Summary Alpha Schools replaces traditional lectures with AI‑driven adaptive learning and peer mentorship. Your role guides K‑8 students toward discovering their strengths, facilitating workshops, sparking curiosity, and demonstrating that education has no limits when students take ownership of their learning. What You Will Be Doing Engage with K‑8 students as a mentor, establishing trust and cultivating a limitless mindset. Leverage AI and adaptive learning platforms to customize educational pathways—students move at their own speed, while you facilitate exploration. Create and facilitate life‑skills workshops (public speaking, goal‑setting, collaboration) that equip students for sustained success. Cultivate an environment of curiosity, ambition, and development—assist students in recognizing their strengths and passions. Basic Requirements Bachelor’s degree in any subject. Strong public speaking skills with a demonstrated ability to engage and energize audiences. A desire to connect, inspire, and motivate K‑8th grade students. 3 year’s experience coaching or mentoring children. Legal right to work in the US without visa sponsorship. Willingness to work in‑person at one of our campuses: Austin, TX; Brownsville, TX; Fort Worth, TX; or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ. Able to attend a paid training program at our Austin, TX campus. Working with Us This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The role is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. Compensation is $50 USD/hour, paid weekly.
