The Inside Sales Manager will have the responsibility of managing the activities and development of the Inside Sales team. This person will create a competitive, collaborative, and high-performance sales team. Your keen understanding of the inside sales process to serve various buyer personas while utilizing internal and external stakeholders is essential to the role.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and motivate inside sales team to connect with new and existing customers to discuss their needs and to review specific products and promotions that meet their needs.
Document and report on customer needs while working closely with brand management to develop and identify gaps in our product lines or upcoming trends that should be capitalized on.
Coach and develop Inside Sales team members by identifying, planning, and participating in ongoing professional development.
Provide daily, weekly, or monthly performance and analytic reports determined by leadership. This includes monthly forecast, pipeline, and other strategic reports outlined.

Position Requirements:

5+ years of Steel Industry experience
BS/BA degree preferred
Solid track record of managing a team of sales representatives creating a positive, productive, and collaborative sales environment that ensures motivation and achievement of results.
Excellent analytical skills and developing strategies based on evolving data.
Demonstrated consistent tenacity and drive to achieve goals.
MIS experience is a plus.
Experience in a business development or cold-calling sales environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
