Facility: South Florida Baptist Hospital

Responsibilities:

  • The Food Services Cook II is responsible for the preparation of foods according to the standardized recipes, and production methods.
  • Ensures high quality using safe, sanitary food handling techniques during preparation, service and storage and daily quality control checks.
  • Works multiple production stations and conducts quality control checks on taste, temperature and presentation on patient, cafeteria, and catering foods.
  • Trains and orients selected staff on food production and safety and sanitation practices.
  • Is lead production in absence of Executive Chef according to facility.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.
  • Requires ServSafe Manager food safety certification within 1 year of hire.
