Position Summary

Join our esteemed culinary team as a Culinary Specialist II, where your passion for food and creativity will shine. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to crafting memorable dining experiences that delight our guests. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining our high standards of culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory and procure necessary supplies by initiating requisitions and ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked.
  • Review function sheets and restaurant requisitions to create a daily task list for the kitchen team.
  • Prepare mise en place to ensure efficient service throughout the day.
  • Implement effective stock rotation and storage practices to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
  • Assist in training and supervising junior kitchen staff to uphold our culinary standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health, safety, and sanitation protocols.
  • Report any suspicious activities within the kitchen to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Coordinate outlet orders and kitchen needs to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
  • Formal culinary training or education, particularly in pastry and baking techniques.
  • A minimum of one year of experience at the Cook III level or previous Cook II experience.
  • Proficient in various baking methods, including dough preparation, pastry shaping, and decoration.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision to guarantee the quality and presentation of desserts and pastries.
