Job Description:
Can you give a high-level overview of your team size, roles, its initiatives/deliverables, and any tools/technologies specific to your team/department/project they will be supporting:
The team consists of nearly 60 people. We are a group of engineers, designers, and document controllers that support the entire Generation fleet. This role will support the archiving of old project files.


What would “a day in the life” of this role look like?:
Review document for duplication in eRecords, if not a duplication, scan and upload. Targets for scanning and uploading are set weekly, and reviewed at the end of each week.


What interaction level with this role have the team members and hiring manager?
Most interactions will take place with the Compliance Records Analyst. Interactions with the manager will be frequent at first and tapper off as the individual gets more comfortable in the role.


What would you say is the top priority for the worker over the first few weeks/months?:
Learning the scanning and eRecords system, shadowing the current Compliance Records Analyst, and getting comfortable with the tips and tricks to make the scanning and uploading process most efficient.


What do you foresee being the biggest challenge in this role?
The work is very repetitive.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Functions:
Provide centralized control, indexing, and storage of engineering/generating plant documents for rapid and accurate retrieval; from central or remote/archival storage.

Generating Plants include all owned generation facilities and also include records for high voltage substations, new resources, and planning documents.

Actively support problem-solving to establish and maintain a records information program in compliance with the Corporate Records Information System (mainframe/CRIS) that meets the needs of the department.

Establish file patterns, assign file codes; file documents & provide timely uploads for future retrieval.

Develop and maintain retention schedules; identify vital records and work with Records Management to provide effective protection.

Determine, through Corporate retention guidelines and subject matter, where to file information.

Physical ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds
