Accounting Specialist - Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
Rockville, MD

MUST:
2+years of experience in the accounting field
Experience working in a mortgage company preferred
Experience processing invoices
Handling A/R and A/P
Month end closing
Handling reconciliations
Experience with Concur preferred or another accounting system
Proficiency with Excel
Assisting with billing inquiries and loan inquiries
Electronic invoicing processing
Bachelor s Degree

DUTIES:
The Duties of the Accounts Payable/Receivable role include but are not limited to the following:
Process payments and invoices
Assist with monitoring the accounts payable and servicing mailboxes
Ensure timely processing of paper and electronic invoices
Monitor the status of pending invoices and handle resolution of outstanding issues
Assist with inquiries regarding payments
Maintain aging reports for accounts payable and receivables
Complete vendor setup
Complete reconciliations for the Accounting Department
Resolve vendor issues
Provide support to users on Concur software with invoicing and expense reimbursement users
Handle document tracking
Assist with month end close process for Accounts Payable
