Axis Communications is looking for a Senior Coordinator, Internal Control & Compliance to help coordinate internal control and financial statement audits in the US and Canada. The position plays an important role supporting the company’s fast growth and will also work with external consultants on insurances, taxes and corporate compliance.

Who is your future team?

The Senior Coordinator will report to the Regional Controller and work alongside the teams responsible for Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis.

What you’ll do here as Senior Coordinator, Internal Control & Compliance?

Primary contact for financial and internal control audits (Internal Audit and external audit teams)

Coordinate and follow-up on audit requests and findings

Assist with maintaining internal control documentation

Assist in gathering audit documentation from financial systems

Complete business registrations and filings as needed for various States

Gather information for annual insurance renewals and assist with ad-hoc insurance requests

Working with tax firm, assist in providing information needed for tax calculations and complete filings

Coordinate with tax firm to address and tax notices, inquiries and audits

Complete Sales and Use tax filings for various States

Who are we looking for/Who are you?

Experience with and knowledge of internal controls, taxes and corporate insurances

Self-motivated and energetic with a positive approach to problem solving

Highly organized and responsive

Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues / peers, audit teams, and consultants / advisors

We'd love to hear that you have/are:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience

Experience with Accounting software (ERP)

Physical Demands and Travel:

Travel up to 10% annually

Pay range:

The approximate pay range for this location and position is $58-65K OTE. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
