We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Coordinator Assistant to join our team at Gastro Health. As a key member of our gastroenterology multi-specialty group, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical center.

About the Role

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. You will work Monday through Friday, with no weekends or evenings required.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to our physicians and care center providers.
  • Handle all administrative tasks and duties for the physician/provider.
  • Serve as the liaison or coordinator for patients' medical care.

In addition to your administrative responsibilities, you will also provide medical literature and clinical preparation instructions to patients, assist patients with questions and/or concerns regarding procedures, and schedule all procedures to be performed by the physician.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or GED equivalent and 2 years of experience as a medical assistant. A Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) certification is preferred, as well as bilingual skills in English/Spanish.
