Responsibilities:
  • Perform all work in compliance with safety procedures and policies.
  • Client out mechanical tubing and use appropriate tools for assigned tasks.
  • Operate tubing benders to fabricate lines for oil, gas, and fuel systems in turbine packages.
  • Work with different kinds and grades of pipes, tubing, and structural materials for assembling turbine packages.
  • Review, interpret, and apply complex assembly instructions, specifications, electrical schematics, and blueprints.
  • Inventory, clean, and visually inspect all components, and stage all equipment needed for assembly.
  • Safely offload incoming parts from transport using proper lifting/rigging equipment.
  • Perform the fitting of structural components using appropriate tools and methods for the assembly of SGT 100-400 and A-35/A-65 Gas Turbine and compressor packaging.
  • ssist fitters and electricians in the assembly and testing of turbines and associated equipment.
  • Conduct or assist in the full load testing of gas turbines.
  • Perform measurements and adjustments to achieve correct tolerances, and record measurements for review.

  • Preference for applicants with specific expert knowledge of Turbomachinery rotating equipment assembly, particularly SGT 100-400 and A-35/A-65 Gas Turbine and compressor packaging.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Proficient in inspecting, repairing, replacing, installing, and maintaining all electrical components and assemblies on gas turbines and associated packages.
