Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Production Assembly Specialist to become a vital part of our manufacturing team at TPI Staffing Group. This position demands a solid grasp of technical schematics and blueprints to effectively construct intricate wiring assemblies, along with proficiency in utilizing hand tools for the assembly of larger mechanical parts during both the preliminary and final stages of production.
Key Duties:
- Technical Documentation Interpretation: Accurately read and follow detailed schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to assemble components correctly.
- Wiring Assembly: Build wiring assemblies in accordance with specifications, ensuring proper connectivity and compliance with standards.
- Tool Utilization: Employ a variety of hand and power tools during the assembly process, maintaining safety and efficiency.
- Final Assembly Tasks: Integrate parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulic systems during the concluding assembly phase, ensuring all components are securely attached.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in both components and finished products.
- Testing and Quality Control: Execute functionality and continuity tests on completed assemblies, ensuring they meet established quality benchmarks.
- System Adjustments: Make necessary adjustments or repairs to systems to guarantee optimal performance and adherence to safety regulations.
- Experience: At least 2 years in an assembly role, with hands-on experience in hydraulic systems and electrical/control wiring.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Tool Ownership: Candidates must possess a personal set of tools.
- Measurement Proficiency: Ability to utilize and accurately read various measurement instruments, including tape measures, calipers, micrometers, pressure gauges, and multimeters.
- Physical Capability: Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
- Screening Requirements: Successful completion of a drug screening and background check is mandatory.
