Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembly Specialist to join our dynamic manufacturing team at TPI Staffing Group. This position involves interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to assemble intricate wiring harnesses and utilizing hand tools for the assembly of larger mechanical components during both prebuild and final assembly phases. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong capability to assemble, test, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Documentation: Accurately read and interpret detailed drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams for component assembly.
  • Wiring Harness Assembly: Construct wiring harnesses according to specifications, ensuring proper continuity.
  • Tool Utilization: Employ a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively during the assembly process.
  • Final Assembly Tasks: Assemble components, wires, hoses, and hydraulics, ensuring secure and correct fittings.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in components and finished products.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct functionality and continuity tests on completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • System Adjustments: Make necessary adjustments or repairs to systems to optimize performance and maintain safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience: At least 4 years in an assembly environment, with hands-on experience in hydraulic equipment and electrical/control wiring.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Tool Requirement: Must provide a personal set of tools.
  • Measurement Proficiency: Ability to accurately use measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, pressure gauges, and multimeters.
  • Physical Capability: Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
  • Screening: Successful completion of drug screening and background check is required.
  • Additional Skills: Experience as a Millwright is a plus; familiarity with torque wrenches and dial indicators is beneficial; understanding of electrical continuity and hydraulic flow and pressure is essential; experience with bending steel hydraulic tubing is an advantage.
