We are eager to enhance our workforce at MB Automation GmbH & Co. KG with a dedicated Mechanical Assembly Specialist (m/f/d).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components in accordance with technical specifications utilizing the provided assembly tools.
  • Conduct quality assessments on both your own and colleagues' assembled components.
  • Champion quality initiatives, ensuring that quality remains a primary focus for all team members.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and error detection of components at testing stations or machinery.
  • Oversee production hour tracking and productivity metrics for yourself and your team.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace, including the arrangement of parts/modules and the upkeep of tools and chemicals.
  • Develop and uphold standardized work instructions for designated areas.
  • Complete all necessary assembly documentation and reporting.
  • Participate in quality assurance, machine planning, and organizational meetings as needed.
  • Operate tooling machinery when necessary (e.g., hand-drill, lathe, milling machine).
  • Mentor new employees, trainees, and part-time staff as assigned.
  • Manage inventory bookings in the stock system.
  • Follow up on orders for precision components required for complete assembly.
  • Assist in the creation of procedural documentation (SOP/OPL).
  • Perform hands-on assembly tasks as needed in both Pre and Final Assembly stages.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at improving quality, delivery, cost, and safety, while supporting continuous improvement through Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Identify ergonomic challenges and propose practical design solutions tailored to the workplace.

Your Qualifications:

  • A Diploma, Advanced/Higher Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications.
  • Strong product knowledge and understanding.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and capable of multitasking with a sense of urgency.
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English.
  • Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
