Intricate fitting, adjusting, and aligning of a considerable number of parts (involving close tolerances and interrelated factors) are required to complete products, units, or sub-assemblies. Hand tools and usage of machines will be required to perform the assembly. Follows schedule provided by SAP and management. A Day In The Life Assembles and/or wires complex equipment following blueprints, models, and model prints. Skilled adjusting, fitting, and aligning are required within close tolerances. * Follows work cell procedures or mechanical drawings and product structures. * Sets up, operates, and maintains basic production machines such as component engravers, presses, crimpers, riveting or encapsulation machines. * Is flexible and able to perform many operations on product in and outside of home department. * Uses hand and power tools as required. * Builds harness assemblies. * Light usage of computers to monitor and report job status and component availability. Will need to be able to open prints or work instructions from system and write to excel or SAP databases. * May perform thru-hole PCB assembly. * Performs related duties as assigned by Supervisor. * Works overtime as required. * Strives to meet prescribed quality standards in an ISO environment. * Follows proper use of PPE’s to promote a safe work environment and performs 5S steps to ensure clean, hazard-free, and efficient work area. What will help you thrive in this role? * Minimum of 1-3 years electro-mechanical assembly experience. Mechanical assembly with electronic/electrical safety knowledge is acceptable. * Ability to read blueprints and schematics; read and identify proper components and color schemes. * Must present excellent workmanship standards. * Must have good verbal communication skills.
