An award-winning and multi-disciplinary Architecture/Engineering firm is currently seeking a Senior Plumbing Engineer to lead/manager exciting and complex projects within the Higher Education, Government, Science and Technology and Healthcare market sectors for their Boston, MA office. 

Responsibilities


  • Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development and construction documents
  • Manage and direct design staff to meet client expectations and project goals
  • Act as plumbing point-of-contact for clients and pre-construction services for their scope areas
  • Work on a variety of projects, both new construction and renovations that vary in size from 100,000SF to 650,000SF
  • Develop construction drawing packages and write construction specifications
  • Provide mentoring and direction to junior members of project team
  • Manage multi-disciplinary teams on projects related to Government, Healthcare, Science/Technology and University Facilities

Qualifications


  • 10 year's of experience
  • P.E. License Required
  • Familiarity with BIM
  • Professional Degree in Engineering required from an accredited four-year university
  • Throughout understanding of Plumbing and Mechanical Engineering systems
  • Ability to lead others and manage teams
  • Understanding of advanced engineering principles and calculations

**Hybrid work remote schedule, 2 days working remote and 3 days in office.
