Job Summary

GPAC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Plumbing Engineer to lead and manage complex projects in the Higher Education, Government, Science and Technology, and Healthcare sectors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and preparing schematic design, design development, and construction documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development, and construction documents
  • Manage and direct design staff to meet client expectations and project goals
  • Act as plumbing point-of-contact for clients and pre-construction services for their scope areas
  • Work on a variety of projects, both new construction and renovations that vary in size from 100,000SF to 650,000SF
  • Develop construction drawing packages and write construction specifications
  • Provide mentoring and direction to junior members of the project team
  • Manage multi-disciplinary teams on projects related to Government, Healthcare, Science/Technology, and University Facilities

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in plumbing engineering
  • P.E. License Required
  • Familiarity with BIM
  • Professional Degree in Engineering required from an accredited four-year university
  • Thorough understanding of Plumbing and Mechanical Engineering systems
  • Ability to lead others and manage teams
  • Understanding of advanced engineering principles and calculations
