Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Plumbing and Fire Protection systems, focusing on sustainable practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Architectural, Civil, or Environmental Engineering.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in plumbing and fire protection system design.
  • Proficiency in 3D BIM software, particularly Revit MEP.
  • Demonstrated interest in sustainable development and the built environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with clients and team members.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to convey technical ideas clearly and accessibly.
  • Proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and contribute to team success.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
  • Presentation skills suitable for engaging with colleagues and clients at all levels.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification; pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is ideal.
  • Membership in relevant professional organizations such as ASPE, ASSE, ASHRAE, NFPA, or SFPE.
  • Courses in sustainability or participation in USGBC initiatives.
  • Experience in a professional setting with minimal supervision.
  • Background in technical presentations and writing.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Dynamo, Python, or Grasshopper.
