Job Title: Transportation Manager


Job Summary

Implementation of OCHN’s transportation strategic vision and plan. Understand transportation challenges to the people OCHN serves. Identify and implement opportunities to improve transportation services across OCHN departments and service populations, including individuals with IDD, SUD, and MH treatment needs. Collaborate with state, county, and provider network partners to implement improvements, including filling transportation gaps and promoting independence to individuals and families we serve. Coordinate and lead OCHN interests by facilitating and/or administration of local, state, and national collaborative projects to develop/refine policy and procedures that will further community inclusion, create efficiencies, and coordinate resources to ensure the best outcomes for those we serve. Facilitate utilization management improvements.

Essential Functions

  • Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities to improve transportation to people served.
  • Identify data points that must be collected to oversee service implementation and work with the information technology department and providers to implement changes.
  • Coordinate grants including identifying funding opportunities, ensure OCHN is meeting grant requirements, etc.
  • Build relationships with providers and other transportation/community partners and represent OCHN at community meetings.
  • Analyze data and draft reports/presentations to inform management of project status.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend solutions to improve transportation.
  • Coordinate transportation projects and partner with leadership to ensure they are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Implement identified initiatives and projects including, but not limited to local, state, and federal collaborative activities.
  • Develop transportation presentation and present to OCHN leadership, providers, Board of Directors, etc. · Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline required.
  • Master's degree in relevant discipline preferred.


Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):

  • None

Experience Requirements:

  • Demonstrated relevant experience in human services administration, contract management, or related areas, preferably in the public sector.
  • Medicaid Transportation analysis and/or management experience is required.

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and other relevant software programs.
  • Understanding of Medicaid rules, regulations, and Medicaid Provider Manual is preferred.

Additional Information

(Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, etc.):

  • Must have available means of transportation to and from OCHN and for required offsite meetings or site visits.
  • Must be available for meetings and events which may occur outside of standard office hours.
  • Work performed primarily in an office environment.
  • Hybrid (onsite/remote) work schedule available.
