Position Overview
You will be a member of a 4-5 person unit team that will be responsible for managing approximately 7-10 large local and national accounts. You will work together with the service team, including the Producer, Unit Manager, Account Executive, Senior Account Specialist, and the Certificate Team to provide exceptional service, build strong relationships, and ensure client satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate knowledge of insurance products, coverage options and market trends
- Account servicing including but not limited to; preparing applications for new and renewal business, marketing of renewals and new business, claims assistance, request and review company produced endorsements for accuracy, invoicing, prepare proposals, follow up on open items/diaries
- Communicate timelines, due dates, and expectations to clients, underwriting teams and internal team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Achieve revenue growth through expanded business by identifying coverage gaps and/or needs through cross-selling opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related program preferred or equivalent education and/or experience required
- A minimum of two years of commercial Property and Casualty insurance experience and/or insurance broking/consulting experience required
- Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Legally able to work in the United States
