The Senior Manager of Digital Excellence will lead the Digital Excellence team committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology to transform businesses, enhance customer experiences, drive strategic initiatives and foster a culture of innovation.
This person will play a key role in increasing our capability around Document Management, Collaboration, Artificial Intelligence by working with IT and business teams to translate business needs into actional insights and solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Manager – The Senior Manager of Digital Excellence is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Digital Excellence department, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company policies and procedures. This person will lead by example, motivating and guiding team members to achieve their goals and deliver exceptional results.
Document Management – The Senior Manager of Digital Excellence will facilitate the Document Management strategy and day to day operations within his team and its business partners. The Digital Excellence team is responsible for managing the overall strategy, maintenance, administration and governance around the Document Management capability within JMH and its subsidiaries. This includes working with end users to understand their requirements and ensure. Systems include but are not limited to SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and File Share systems. This individual will facilitate the strategy and day to day management of this strategy within his team and business partners.
O365 Support – The Senior Manager of Digital Excellence will facilitate the Document Management strategy and day to day operations within his team and its business partners. The Digital Excellence team is responsible for managing the deployment, training, change management, support and governance of the Microsoft O365 platform within JMH and its subsidiaries. This includes developing programs for end users that increase their productivity and efficiency while taking advantage of advances in technology. Systems include the Microsoft o365 suite of applications.
Artificial Intelligence – Senior Manager of Digital Excellence will assist in the coordination of activities related to the deployment of Artificial Intelligence technology. This includes AI tools that are deployed on individual desktops by existing software providers, Machine Learning processes for business automation and efficiencies, and Generative AI projects deployed for business specific use cases.
Sphere of Influence – Senior Manager of Digital Excellence will utilize their years of experience to help impact and guide other IT resources in a direction that will help achieve strategic objectives and organizational success. This role is expected to leverage influence to drive positive change, foster collaboration, and promote alignment with the company's vision and values.
3rd party Management – Senior Manager of Digital Excellence will be responsible for overseeing and managing relationships with external vendors who are hired to help the Digital Excellence team define strategy, develop solutions or provide support. This is critical to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the organization, as well as maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and value delivery from external partners.
Education & Certifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Programming Systems, Computer Science or another related field.
Equivalent combinations of education and work experience also considered.
Experience Required: 10+ years of IT experience with a comparably sized or larger company
5+ years' experience in IT management, business analysis, consulting, process engineering or solutions management or other related area
Record of leadership and accomplishments in integrating and servicing large business
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to collaborate with other members of formal and informal groups in the pursuit of common missions, vision, values and mutual goals.
Experience at planning, organizing, directing, controlling, guiding, supporting work efforts of all sizes and complexity.
Ability to interact with all levels of management to assess business requirements, and provide influence to plan, manage and deliver reliable, cost-effective technology solutions.
Ability to convey information clearly and simply to senior leadership and business stakeholders. This includes good verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills that help facilitating the sharing of information between people.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes, identify and understand requirements and develop alternate solutions.
Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy. Defines and organizes tasks, responsibilities and priorities. Takes responsibility for timely completion.
High awareness and recognizes internal and external clues to help guide future direction and realize opportunities for the organization.
