The Sales Manager is a multi-tasking machine with strong community relations in the Southwest and Midwest and an excellent reputation amongst clients. They also support our hotel family and create an epic experience for our guests. And just to clarify, they may still like a good martini.
What makes them a good sales manager, you ask? Well, they are leaders in and outside the hotel. They are the first to volunteer for a project and the team leans on them as needed. The Sales Manager is head of the pack with client relationships, a forward thinker, and proactive in sculpting sales strategies.
Working with an awesome team and reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Sales Manager will be part of a dynamic team responsible for prospecting clients and cultivating relationships. Using their tenured experience in the hotel sales arena, the Sales Manager is directly responsible for developing lasting relationships with Group Events to meet revenue goals.

• Through the usual functions (sales presentations, prospecting, sales calls, site inspections, client entertainment, and business travel) the Sales Manager is responsible for developing business and meeting revenue goals. Our candidate smells new opportunities and responds authentically and in a professional manner.
• The Sales Manager is cool under pressure and specializes in problem solving. Busy is our middle name and the Sales Manager has a takes no prisoners attitude towards hard work. As a titan of industry, they are involved in networking organizations and a proud representative of Virgin Hotels. Through their notable relationships, they have their finger on the pulse with supply, demand, and market fluctuations.
• As the Sales Manager, they help sculpt our constantly evolving quarterly action plans and target account lists. The Sales Manager will follow the sales & catering guidelines to book the highest quality business. Timely responses to clients and proactive communication within the hotel are musts and using "us", "we", and "our" are the keys to success.
• We live to learn. The Sales Manager is open to developing their professional selling skills through Virgin Hotels organized training programs, ready and able to take on every new task thrown their way, and meets each day excited to find something different awaiting. They also are a role model for the up and comers.
• The Sales Manager's main role is bringing in the biz, so customer relations must be on top. We believe live is better than scripted and are looking for those who love hotel sales. To be considered, you must be a self-motivated rock star who is organized and thinks a little differently. Or as we like to call it, a Rainmaker.
