The Galactic Partner Sales Manager position might be right for you. 


Close sales and win new business exclusively through our Managed Services Provider (MSP) channel. You will help our MSP subscription partners sell recurring third-party assessment subscriptions to their clients by coaching and enabling them with talk tracks, strategies, marketing materials and confidence 


Your day-to-day will focus on cultivating and nurturing relationships with your MSPs. This typically consists of virtual meetings and coaching sessions, check-in phone calls, emails, etc. The majority of your time is spent working with your partners to improve their sales abilities and sell their clients on our innovative products.


To be successful, you will need to manage multiple sales processes simultaneously through various stages in the sales process and document them. You will be responsible for driving sales and growth through effective and strategic relationship management.


The ideal candidate will have experience in channel sales or account management with a focus on driving new business. A proven track record of managing existing customers, growing/up-selling a book of business, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are a must. Sales coaching experience is also a bonus. 


As you sell new business, you will also need to stick with the implementation process for already-sold business until those clients are up and running on the solutions you sell. As you strive to grow your career, leaders will back your desire to pursue advancement and provide continual sales training. 

 

This is achieved by fulfilling a variety of responsibilities: 

 

  • Manage relationships with existing channel partners and customers to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth. 
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and recommend new products or services to meet customer needs. 
  • Achieve sales targets and quotas by actively selling and promoting Galactic products or services to existing partners. 
  • Keep accurate records of partner interactions and sales activities in the company CRM system. 
  • Collaborate with other internal teams such as customer support, marketing, and product development to provide excellent service and drive partner retention. 
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay current on market trends. 
  • Understand and articulate value propositions of Galactic Advisors solutions and offerings. 
  • Monitor and interpret product usage data for an assigned book of accounts to identify opportunities to improve adoption, up-sell within existing products, or identify new opportunities.  
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions with channel partners and sales and marketing leadership. 

 

That sounds great and all, but what do you need to be successful in this position? 

 

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of inside sales experience required; preferably in channel sales managing existing customers strongly preferred. 
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and quotas required. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills required. 
  • Demonstrated progressive experience with B2B sales. 
  • Excellent team and communication skills. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills required. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners. 
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools. 
  • Demonstrated revenue growth and channel experience. 
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques. 
  • Strong ability to interact and influence effectively with C-level executives, Board and team members. 
  • BS/BA in business, marketing, or related field required or equivalent work experience.
