We are currently seeking a **Construction Supervisor** based out of Houston, Texas. Position starting salary will depend upon experience level.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

THE **CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR** IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS WITHIN A MALL BASED LOCATION OF 150 LEADING RETAIL COMPANIES. THIS POSITION DOES NOT REQUIRE TRAVEL AND IS BASED ON SITE IN HOUSTON. THE CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR COORDINATION BETWEEN CLIENTS, ON-SITE EMPLOYEES AND CONTRACTORS. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE THE SUPERVISION OF TEAM WHO INSTALL, SERVICE AND REPAIR BARRICADES AND/OR GRAPHICS, MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS AND LIFT RENTALS.

MANAGE EMPLOYEES ON DAILY BASIS AND PROVIDE GUIDANCE WHENEVER NEEDED

UNDERSTANDS ANNUAL BUDGET, RE-PROJECTIONS AND MONTHLY PROJECTIONS. OPERATES UNDER THESE BUDGETARY GUIDELINES

GENERATES SALES REVENUE BY ADDING NEW CUSTOMERS AS WELL AS UPSELLING CURRENT CUSTOMERS

EXECUTE AND ENSURE THAT ALL ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES, IS COMPLETED TIMELY AND ACCURATELY

HIRE, TRAIN AND MOTIVATE ALL NEW PERSONNEL WITH A FOCUS ON MAINTAINING HIGH LEVEL OF CRAFTSMANSHIP AND SAFETY

ENSURES THAT ALL NEW EMPLOYEES RECEIVE ORIENTATION, INTRODUCTION TO COMPANY FIELD PROCEDURES AND SAFETY TRAINING.

RESPONSIBLE FOR CARE, INVENTORY AND ALLOCATION OF TOOLS, UNIFORMS AND MATERIALS PROVIDED TO EMPLOYEES

RESPONSIBLE FOR OVERALL CARE AND CLEANLINESS OF FIELD FLEET VEHICLES MAINTENANCE AND EXPENSE LOGS

FACILITATE STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS BY ENGAGING IN PROACTIVE COMMUNICATION AND PROVIDING EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE

MANAGE REQUIREMENTS OF ALL JOBS TO INSURE PROPER EXECUTION

IMPLEMENT SAFETY AND TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR EMPLOYEES, INCLUDING OSHA AND DOT TRAINING

PURCHASE AND INVENTORY ALL STOCK ITEMS, BUILDING MATERIALS AND CLEANING SUPPLIES IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE AT OR BELOW MONTHLY BUDGET

MANAGE THE REPAIR, CLEANING AND INVENTORY CONTROL OF ALL BARRICADE PANELS AND ACCOMPANYING HARDWARE

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:**

EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, BOTH VERBAL AND WRITTEN

HIGHLY ORGANIZED WITH STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND ABILITY TO MANAGE MULTIPLE PROJECTS WITH URGENT DEADLINES AND FLEXIBLE PRIORITIES

EXCELLENT TIME MANAGEMENT AND PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS

ABILITY TO READ CONSTRUCTION BLUEPRINTS AND STORE ELEVATION DRAWINGS

ABILITY TO OPERATE CURRENT SOFTWARE PROGRAMS

ABILITY TO TAKE INSTRUCTION AND USE PRE-ESTABLISHED GUIDELINES TO PERFORM FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB AS WELL AS EXPERIENCE AND JUDGEMENT TO ACCOMPLISH COMPLETION OF JOB

PROJECT MANAGEMENT OR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY OR SIMILAR 3-5 YEARS WORKING EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD OF RETAIL OR COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION

A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE FROM STATE OF RESIDENCE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD PER COMPANY STANDARDS.
