San Francisco, United States Afterpay Full time
Senior Integrated Marketing Lead - Commerce
  • Full-time

It all started with an idea at Block in 2013. Initially built to take the pain out of peer-to-peer payments, Cash App has gone from a simple product with a single purpose to a dynamic ecosystem, developing unique financial products, including Afterpay/Clearpay, to provide a better way to send, spend, invest, borrow and save to our 47 million monthly active customers. We want to redefine the world’s relationship with money to make it more relatable, instantly available, and universally accessible.

Today, Cash App has thousands of employees working globally across office and remote locations, with a culture geared toward innovation, collaboration and impact. We’ve been a distributed team since day one, and many of our roles can be done remotely from the countries where Cash App operates. No matter the location, we tailor our experience to ensure our employees are creative, productive, and happy.

Cash App is looking for a fast-paced and action-oriented Senior Integrated Marketing Lead in the US. This role will oversee integrated marketing functions for Cash App’s Commerce team (Afterpay + Cash App Pay). The ideal candidate has a wealth of experience working with commercial retailers and running a team focused on building integrated consumer marketing campaigns that also support 3rd party partners. This candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication and presentation skills, with equal parts creative and analytical.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee Afterpay integrated marketing efforts in the US & partnering closely with Afterpay International to help bring consistency across our brand globally.
  2. Design, develop and scale campaigns that drive consumer awareness and adoption of Cash App’s commerce solutions (pay now and pay later).
  3. Design and execute a content strategy and calendar that highlights our value proposition in a way that resonates with our core customer.
  4. Collaborate with marketing channels (B2B and B2C), Creative, Data Science, and comms to execute launch plans flawlessly.
  5. Develop integrated marketing campaigns that support 3rd party partners during peak retail moments and/or during critical phases of the partnership (e.g. at launch).
  6. Develop compelling customer-centric product positioning and oversee the consumer launch and adoption of commerce products.
  7. Partner with Customer Insights & Data Science to gather insights that drive campaign direction.
  8. Partner with Product & Customer Insights to develop feedback loops on marketing effectiveness, brand health and areas of opportunity regarding brand perception.
  9. Partner with Creative and external agencies to build campaign platforms, assets and evergreen content.
  10. Act as an advocate for enhancing the overall look and feel of the brand across all touch points.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 12+ years of relevant work experience across integrated marketing, product marketing, and/or brand marketing.
  2. At least 5+ years of direct integrated marketing experience.
  3. Experience working in technology, financial services, or retail companies is preferred.
  4. Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.
  5. Strong verbal and written communicator, with the ability to synthesize a complex situation into a concise plan.
  6. Data driven and strong analytical skills.
  7. A team player who is accountable, proactive, solution-oriented and willing to solve problems.
  8. Ability to analyze data to uncover insights.
