We seek a seasoned Sales Account Executive to bolster our rapidly expanding startup in Chicago. At RIDY, as a Sales Account Executive, you'll collaborate directly with the founding team, playing a pivotal role in realizing our ambitious growth and revenue targets.


Role Overview:


As a National Account Executive, you will spearhead the expansion of Ridy's services in the multifamily and commercial real estate sectors. You will engage in active prospecting, leveraging various channels such as calls, emails, industry events, and in-person visits, to identify and close new business opportunities. You will be responsible for cultivating new relationships, leveraging existing partnerships, and helping achieve Ridy’s sales, revenue, and market share goals. 


You will conduct engaging product demonstrations, tailoring package recommendations to precisely align with client requirements. In this role, you will report directly to the VP of Sales and CEO. The position is based at Ridy's Chicago and Boston offices, complemented by occasional travel for trade shows, events, and pivotal client or prospect meetings.


The Day to Day Responsibilities: 


  • Own and build relationships with leading commercial real estate owners and operators across the country
  • Sourcing and closing new relationships and deepening current customer relationships 
  • Effectively use “hunter” and “farmer” sales approaches to develop new business opportunities for multiple customer types
  • Actively prospect for new business to build pipeline opportunities interested in Ridy’s offering and value proposition
  • Respond to and properly vet all inbound sales opportunities
  • Efficiently qualify and manage the sales pipeline from initial contact to closing, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base, and report progress to Ridy executive team on consistent basis
  • Adjust and adapt sales tactics based on market feedback, early sales results, and new insights
  • Utilize various CRM/Sales tools to track sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards goals.
  • Prepare and present proposals/quotes/contracts
  • Conduct thorough market research and monitor industry trends to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support for clients.
  • Achieve specific sales outcomes, adherence to company revenue goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).


To Be Successful:


  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience (preferably in real estate tech, climate-tech, ev charging or mobility industries)
  • Experience in a startup or fast-growing company environment, demonstrating a high degree of independence and initiative.
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision and a record of being comfortable with ambiguity
  • Comfort in communicating with a variety of customer types, from development and asset management executives to on-site property managers
  • Manage multiple competing priorities while simultaneously growing a sales pipeline effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven record of negotiating and closing deals effectively.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the broader success of the company.

Compensation & Benefits

  • We offer a competitive salary package, with a base plus commission with On-Target Earnings (OTE) potential of $240,000, dependent on experience. The final base compensation for the chosen candidate will be aligned with their qualifications and previous professional experience.
