Buffett, acquired Precision Castparts Corp./*generated inline style */ Job Description Location Profile:Located in North Hollywood, CA, Avibank Manufacturing, Inc., a PCC Company, a part of the Engineered Products Group, is among the world's leading manufacturers specializing in the design and production of sophisticated fasteners and multi-component fastening systems and devices, solving difficult engineering and critical performance problems.Position Summary:Reporting to the Director of Operations, this senior member of management will be responsible for the Manufacturing Engineers, Programmers, and Tooling personnel to support manufacturing operations of a specific product line.  The leader will manage the development of the production and manufacturing strategy, including metrics, resources allocation, budget development, and capital and process improvement projects.  Ensures compliance with all quality, engineering, FAA, and customer regulations and specifications.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:Excellent planning, negotiating and organizational skills.Partner with management or subordinates to resolve personnel problems, complaints, or grievances.Enforce safety regulations.Confer with supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.Requisition materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services.Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers.Recommend or execute personnel actions, such as hiring’s, evaluations, and promotions.Determine standards, budgets, production goals, and rates, based on company policies, equipment and labor availability, and workloads.Calculate labor and equipment requirements and production specifications, using standard formulas.Required Skills:Possess good written/oral communications skills, as well as the ability to present his/her views in a clear and compelling manner. Positive can-do orientation. Able to deal effectively with a broad range of personalities.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated project/team management capabilities that can meet aggressive deadlines.Strong facilitation skills, conflict resolution and project management skills.Interacts well and with a high degree of urgency to customers, and at all levels within the organization, as well as across organizations.Confidence in working with ambiguity and handling complexity.Required Experience:5years of Management experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.Experience in aerospace/fastener/metals manufacturing industries, with strong knowledge of all fastener materials preferred.Experience using ERP/MRP systems.Level of Education:BS in Mechanical Engineering, Operations, or similar./*generated inline style */ All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran./*generated inline style */
For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $125,100 to $187,700 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors.  For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 3X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
