We seek a mature, self-motivated service advisor who is ready to assume the additional responsibilities of an Assistant Service Manager. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of five years as a service advisor
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of CDK DMS services preferred
- Ability to work well with others.
- Maintain a high level of professional personal appearance and conduct
- Maintain high CSI Score
- Proficiency in Mandarin / Cantonese / Korean a plus
SERVICE ADVISOR DUTIES:
- Serve as a liaison between clients and technicians, translating clients needs and concerns into actionable repair and maintenance work.
- Advise clients on the care and maintenance of their vehicle.
- Perform vehicle walk-arounds on the service drive.
- Compose repair orders according to best practices.
- Provide labor and parts estimates for repairs and maintenance.
- Interface with technicians, parts personnel, reception and valets to effect repairs and maintenance.
- Update clients on the progress of repairs and maintenance.
- Review completed repairs and maintenance with clients.
- Accept payment for services rendered.
- Schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
- Escort client to vehicle on service drive.
- Follow-up with clients shortly after their visit.
- Attend training classes as needed.
ASSISTANT MANAGER DUTIES:
- Open service facility at 6:50 AM.
- Serve as a role model for Service Advisor team.
- Ensure efficient and gracious conduct of advisors, reception and valets during early morning hours.
- Proactively assist clients needing special attention.
- Work with Service and Parts Director to refine processes with an eye towards CSI and shop proficiency.
