Position: Culinary Service Associate

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated individual with experience in large-scale meal preparation and service within institutional settings.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and sanitation within the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Prepare food displays in serving areas and interact with customers, taking special orders and addressing inquiries about menu items.
  • Maintain high standards of service quality and cleanliness.
  • Support the replenishment of food items on the serving line and assist in portioning and serving meals.
  • Prepare a variety of food items, including sandwiches, salads, and desserts, following established recipes and guidelines.
  • Ensure proper storage of food products upon delivery and adhere to all food safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment, following all sanitation protocols.
  • Perform dishwashing and cleaning duties, ensuring all kitchen areas are kept tidy and organized.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in food handling and sanitation methods, or ServSafe certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in customer service and food service environments.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in fast-paced settings.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
