House of Forgings and Ironwood Connection, a national distributor of high-quality stairs and railing components, are looking for a Field Operations Supervisor who will oversee construction projects, their development and completion, and ensure execution of the company's project management operations and related programs and services.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and evaluate construction projects according to the assigned schedule and given specifications.
- Prepares schedules and monitors progress against the allotted time and budgets.
- Monitors variances in material and labor in coordination with leadership to maximize profitability.
- Conduct meetings regularly and implement various quality control programs and initiatives to set and reach the required standards.
- Ensure that all cost and production targets are achieved by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Other tasks as assigned by leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify and implement best practices and continual performance measurement.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills and experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Degree in a related field preferred.
- At least five years of experience in construction, field, project, or program management.
- Spanish Speaker is preferred.
- Lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required infrequently.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
