Skills and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting
CPA is a plus
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Ripping, Causal, and/or ClickUp a plus
Team player who is a self-starter, excited and willing to help out and not afraid to "manage up"
Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Great organizational and time management skills and strong attention to detail
Must be able to physically navigate project sites, including ascending and descending stairs, carrying packages or boxes up to 30 lbs in weight

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the monthly close process, including the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
Manage payroll and benefits administration
Assist with the employee onboarding/offboarding process and the administration and maintenance of various software applications, including StudioDesigner, Harvest, ClickUp, Rippling and Causal
Create weekly summary of timesheets and process edits from management
Prepare weekly time summaries and monthly time invoices and send to clients
Update various financial reporting schedules
Create and post journal entries and enter expenses in Studio Designer
Assist in the creation and preparation of the budget and tracking actual performance vs budget
Deposit cash and checks and manage petty cash
Track contracts for each project to ensure that all billable activity is properly invoiced
Assist with the creation of new processes, policies and procedures
