Job Summary: The Senior Sales Director of Inside Sales is a key leadership role responsible for managing a cross-functional team of SDRs to drive top-of-funnel pipeline growth and mid-market revenue. Reporting to the VP of Inside Sales, this role sets the vision, structure, and rhythm for sales execution, ensuring team performance aligns with sector-specific goals and company priorities. The ideal candidate brings a data-driven mindset, a servant leadership approach, and a track record of building high-performing sales teams through coaching, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead, develop, and coach a team of 6–12 SDRs to exceed pipeline, conversion, and revenue goals. Design and execute sector-specific outbound strategies, campaigns, and calling projects aligned with broader business priorities. Foster a performance-driven culture rooted in accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement. Partner with the VP of Inside Sales to tailor onboarding and development programs for new and tenured team members. Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Sector Leadership to align on messaging, ideal customer profiles, and campaign execution. Use CRM and sales tools to monitor KPIs, assess performance trends, and make strategic adjustments to maximize efficiency and impact. Ensure accurate pipeline reporting, outreach documentation, and CRM hygiene across the team. Lead special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by VP leadership, contributing to the evolution of the Inside Sales function. Proven ability to lead and develop remote sales teams. Managerial experience with track record of hitting team quotas and pipeline goals. Proficient in CRM databases (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), Excel, and sales engagement tools. Strong communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership. Highly organized, resourceful, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
