Reporting to the VP of Inside Sales, this role sets the vision, structure, and rhythm for sales execution, ensuring team performance aligns with sector-specific goals and company priorities. The ideal candidate brings a data-driven mindset, a servant leadership approach, and a track record of building high-performing sales teams through coaching, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.Role & ResponsibilitiesLead, develop, and coach a team of 612 SDRs to exceed pipeline, conversion, and revenue goals.Design and execute sector-specific outbound strategies, campaigns, and calling projects aligned with broader business priorities.Foster a performance-driven culture rooted in accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement.Partner with the VP of Inside Sales to tailor onboarding and development programs for new and tenured team members.Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Sector Leadership to align on messaging, ideal customer profiles, and campaign execution.Use CRM and sales tools to monitor KPIs, assess performance trends, and make strategic adjustments to maximize efficiency and impact.Ensure accurate pipeline reporting, outreach documentation, and CRM hygiene across the team.Lead special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by VP leadership, contributing to the evolution of the Inside Sales function.Core CompetenciesStrategic Leadership & Vision, Sales Enablement & Coaching, Stakeholder Management, Performance Management & Accountability, Process Optimization and Improvement, Business Acumen, Buyer Experience and EngagementKey SkillsPipeline Development & Prospecting, Data-Driven Decision Making, Executive Communication & Influence, Adaptability & Problem Solving, Change Management, Coaching and Skill Development, Quota Attainment and Sales GrowthQualifications5+ years of inside sales experience, with demonstrated success in a leadership roleProven ability to lead and develop remote sales teamsManagerial experience with track record of hitting team quotas and pipeline goalsProficient in CRM databases (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), Excel, and sales engagement toolsStrong communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadershipHighly organized, resourceful, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrategic thinker with a glass-half-full mentality, driven to elevate team performance and resultsCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
