**Job Title** : E/M Technician/Test Technician Pay $25

**Job Description:**

+ The job is a mechanical assembler/wire and cable assembler and harnesser, combined with a quality inspector and tester.

+ Each person will assemble the subassembly they are working on.

+ When they are assigned a task, they will need to use their manufacturing execution system.

+ This system will have them open the work instructions for the specific sub assembly they are assigned to, they will follow the work instructions and when a manufacturing task is completed they will check off in the system the task.

+ The electrical assembly they will do is connecting wires and harnesses to the modules and PCBAs.

+ This is all done by hand or with screw drivers, wrenches, power drills, needle nose pliers, Allan Wrenches, wire strippers and wire crimpers.

+ After the assembly steps are followed, completed, and marked as complete in MES, they will move to the testing phase of their job.

+ They will have to open a program on their laptop.

+ The first program they will install is the firmware to the PCBA.

+ They will have to run a script to upload the firmware.

+ After the firmware is uploaded is when this person will begin the functional testing part of the job.

+ They will select the area of the device that is going to be tested, enter the code that will be ran using a keyboard, and see the code being run is running properly.

+ All are responsible for testing and troubleshooting.

+ To test, attach the cables to subassembly, load the program and run the script.

+ Will need to document every part of the manufacturing process they complete in the MES so there is an electronic device history record.
