What it is: This position will report directly to our Chief Customer Officer and will be directly responsible for developing, delivering, and analyzing training for internal and external clients.

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a passionate Senior Product Trainer who will help ensure the long-term success of our customers. You will become a Product SME and provide strategic direction, consulting, and guidance regarding the use of our product in the client setting. You will also develop and deliver training content internally and externally.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Coordinate with other teams in order to faciliate effective client training.
  • Work with accounting to maintain training financials.
  • Develop assessments to determine training effectivness.
  • Develop and maintain certifications for training programs.
  • Develop training strategies to grow the training program.
  • Develop surveys to assess effectiveness of the training/trainer to determine what improvements need to be made.
  • Remain up-to-date with product changes and update and maintain training materials.
  • Assess the need for training internally and for our external customer base.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources to develop and conduct new hire orientations for new employees.
  • Create and execute Statements of Work (SOWs) for customer training.
  • Advise clients/implementation team about timing of training and who should attend training.
  • Quickly become a product expert (SME) in all Lucernex software and pass and certifiy on the software after training.
  • Teach clients/employees how to use the product, as well as best practices in product use.
  • Develop and deliver various internal training programs and act as an internal product resource to all teams.
  • Conduct in person and web-based training sessions, lasting from 1 hour to 5 days across multiple platforms.
  • Mentor and develop junior training resource.
  • Travel to client sites via car and/or plane to conduct face-to-face training.
  • Log and proactively track bugs, enhancements, and improvements to the system.
  • Various other job related duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Skills & Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Education/ Required: Bachelor's degree in technical writing, instructional design, education or a related field such as Real Estate accounting or equivalent work experience.

Experience Required:
  • At least 5 years experience as a Trainer
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a software trainer in a SaaS envisronment
  • Experience leading training across multiple platforms
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in the commercial or corporate real estate industry
  • Working knowledge of real estate or asset leasing and lease accounting
  • Experience with learning management systems
  • Experience working in small companies with fewer than 200 employees
Special Skills Required:
  • Working knowledge of SaaS software products
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • 30-60% travel and a willingness to work a flexible schedule required
  • Excellent Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Word skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extreme passion for developing and delivering training
  • Ability to work independently
Special Skills Preferred:
  • Experience with ISO 9001 support and management principles
  • Experience with multimedia authoring tools such as Captivate
  • Experience with Dicebo LMS
