JOB OVERVIEW:

  1. Seeking candidates with strong experience in L1/L2 Support, Production Support, and Incident Management.
  2. Experience in enterprise applications and e-commerce is essential.
  3. Basic knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is required.
  4. Familiarity with performance monitoring and tuning tools is necessary.
  5. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Linux, Python, and Shell is a must.
  6. Experience with Java/J2EE applications is required, though coding skills are not the primary focus.
  7. Two rounds of interviews will be conducted.

Experience Required: Minimum of 8 years in relevant fields.

Role Summary: This position focuses on maintaining a robust production environment, ensuring that applications are efficient, user-friendly, and dependable, while collaborating with various stakeholders to fulfill Non-Functional Requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incidents effectively and build observability features.
  • Engage in problem-solving and create comprehensive runbooks.
  • Automate processes and optimize performance.
  • Conduct blameless postmortems to learn from incidents.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong background in object-oriented programming, particularly in Java and J2EE technologies.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Dynatrace and AppDynamics.
  • Familiarity with containerization and cloud services is beneficial.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with integration technologies and DevOps practices.
  • Proficient in SQL database queries.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Java, cloud technologies, or SRE methodologies are advantageous.
  • Experience with Salesforce and principles of AI/ML is a plus.

Shift Requirement: Must be available for US Business Shift.

On-call Support: The role necessitates 24x7 on-call support for various applications, including home-grown J2EE applications and SaaS platforms.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in production support and system monitoring within J2EE environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Proficiency in Java, J2EE technologies, and frameworks such as Spring and Weblogic.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (Python, Shell).
  • Understanding of network protocols, load balancing, and security principles.
  • Ability to create Linux shell scripts as needed.
