Accounting Administrative Assistant Position Overview

Davidson’s is a 90 years young innovative leader in firearms distribution recognized for our excellence in customer service, product offerings, and financial stability. Davidson’s is currently seeking a part-time, in-house, Accounting Administrative Assistant to join our Credit Department and hardworking team in Prescott, AZ

Position Summary:

The Credit Administrative Assistant will be involved with various duties in the Credit Department such as posting customer payments, releasing orders and processing credit applications under the general supervision of the Credit Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Post customer payments

· Reconcile and balance accounts

· Problem solve and communicate with account executives

· Review accounts and release orders

· Review paperwork for completeness

· Enter credit applications and supporting documents into computer system

· Send and respond to credit reference requests

· Help with cash receipts and invoicing

· Other duties and projects as assigned by the immediate supervisor

· A strong attention to detail – with double-checking and follow-through as a standard

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time working at a computer

· Must have the ability to lift 20 pounds
