Die Cutter Operator

Our client in High Point is seeking a Clamshell/Die Cutter Machine Operator for 1st shift (6am to 4:30pm). The ideal candidate will have experience with clamshell packaging/sealing and die cutter machine operating and pay is dependent upon that experience. This position is temp-to-hire.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance on equipment.
- Complete finishing tasks for digital and/or screen printed jobs.
- Operate a die cutter.
- Use a router table.
- Handle a guillotine cutter.
- Cut, weed, and apply application tape to vinyl.
- Maintain a clean workspace and adhere to safety practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months of relevant experience and/or training, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Six months of machine operation experience.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong time management skills, including planning, prioritizing, organizing, and following through on various tasks.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Proficient in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Initiative to learn and apply new techniques and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
