We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Cascade Die Casting Group Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our die casting equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on die cast machines, furnaces, compressors, trim presses, and other equipment
- Diagnose and correct difficulties encountered in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical operation of equipment
- Install, adjust, repair, and replace electrical equipment and controls, including PLC equipment
- Inspect machines and equipment, and prepare reports following standard procedures
- Weld and operate forklift as required
- Maintain necessary records and reports
- Assist other maintenance personnel as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance and service operations throughout the plant, office, and ground areas
- Experience in blueprint, schematic, and diagram reading for electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience or training in use of testing equipment
- Reading, writing, and basic shop math
- Experience with electrical and PLC software
- Basic hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding
- Basic knowledge of computers
