Sales Manager

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in bakery products to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving sales, leading a high-performing team, and managing customer relationships within the baked goods industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue in the bakery products sector.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term strategies for market expansion.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales goals with product offerings.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- MUST have prior experience in the baked goods industry (bread, pastries, cakes, or related products).
- MUST have experience managing a sales team and achieving sales targets.
- MUST live in the Midwest - this is a regional position with no relocation or sponsorship available.
- Proven ability to develop sales strategies and execute them successfully.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of bakery product trends and customer needs.
