The Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to manage their Masterbatch Color and Additives business in the Midwest. Your mission will be to nurture and grow existing relationships, target new business opportunities in your territory and managing customer support for your portfolio.Your territory will consist of MN, WI, IL, MI, IN OH and Western PA. This territory could expand based on the company’s needs. This position reports to the Director of Sales.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage the day to day sales functions for your territory
  2. Building business plans, developing sales strategy and setting the direction for growth in your territory.
  3. Providing sales forecast and progress reports to the Director of Sales.
  4. Managing your portfolios customer service and client satisfaction needs.

Position Requirements

  1. A Bachelors’ Degree or 10 years of industry related sales experience.
  2. 5 years of experience selling Masterbatch Color, Additives, Compounds or experience managing accounts in the plastics resin industry.
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Good analytical skills.
  5. Proficiency with MS Office.
  6. Demonstrated ability to succeed in a high-paced environment.
  7. The ability to work remotely.
