What’s a typical day as a Sourcing Specialist? You’ll be:
• Independently carrying out sourcing activities with an understanding of their impact on the end-to-end supply chain
• Executing sourcing tactics of varying complexity in accordance with established processes, ensuring optimum cost, quality, and delivery
• Analyzing complex sourcing and purchasing initiatives and processes to deliver cost-effective and high-quality goods and services
• Ensuring consistent application of sourcing procedures and processes
• Supporting purchasing/sourcing management in activities such as price benchmarking, vendor management, industry and market analysis, and process analysis
• Understanding the importance of compliance and being alert to situations that can pose risk to the company

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a 4-year degree in Supply Chain/Procurement or a related field
• Have a strong business insight and can apply knowledge of the business and marketplace to sourcing processes
• Are familiar with Source to Pay Principles and can leverage them to execute sourcing decisions, order placement, material/service acquisition, and on-time payment of suppliers
• Have experience in sourcing and utilizing the purchasing functional system to support the Request For Quote process and establish a Total Cost of Ownership
• Can manage supplier capacity and assess suppliers to ensure they can meet demand
• Value performance throughout the product life cycle and can accurately determine piece price while ensuring a continuance of supply from the supplier
