Role Summary
The Sourcing team at Abercrombie & Fitch is responsible for overseeing the entire production process, from the initial design phase to the final delivery of products. This team plays a crucial role in sourcing high-quality raw materials, maintaining daily communication with vendors and suppliers, and ensuring the successful execution of product categories such as denim and knits. Sourcing Specialists are dedicated to delivering quality and profitable goods in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire production workflow, collaborating directly with our global vendor network to bring products from concept to completion.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with vendors and factories, working closely with internal teams to guarantee the timely delivery of high-quality goods.
- Oversee the Retail Merchandising System (RMS) for purchase order management, ensuring effective communication with external vendors and tracking incoming samples.
- Keep precise production charts and tools aligned with the RMS system.
- Address and manage any production-related challenges or opportunities with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to the department as required.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A genuine passion for the A&F Co. brands.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and receptiveness to feedback.
