Account Executive

Systems Innovation specializes in the permanent installation of world-class AV systems. Our markets include Higher Education Facilities, Religious Institutions, Government, Corporate Boardrooms & Event Spaces, and Experiential and Immersive Environments that include the use of Premium Audio, LED Display Environments, Projection, Theatrical Lighting, and Intelligent Programmed/Automated Control.
The Account Executive will act as a technical sales engineer and negotiate the terms and conditions of contracts for the sale, installation, and/or integration of audio visual and related control equipment.
Essential Functions:
- Initiate sales efforts to identify and convert new customers, maintain and generate contact with current customers, respond to inquiries and/or leads from current and potential customers, renew and maintain relationships with previous customers with a goal of generating business.
- Work with customers and/or technical staff to define system requirements, budgetary constraints, scope of work, review of specifications, plans, drawings, and/or blueprints, installation staffing requirements, pricing, and other issues related to the proposal.
- Research pricing and availability of products and systems.
- Conduct demonstrations of equipment for customers, explaining and operating features suited to customers' requirements.
- Preparation and entry of the formal customer quotes, proposals, and/or service contracts in applicable software to include the cost of equipment, materials, shipping or freight, labor including in-shop, field installation, field engineering, and travel cost estimates.
- Work with manager on all quote approvals and scheduling of installation and associated labor.
- Coordinate all elements of installation details and logistics working with Sales Assistant and Inventory Clerk on purchase orders, receipt of equipment, and ensuring items have been received before work commences.
- Visit site during installation to ensure that contractual requirements are met and to ensure the satisfaction of the customer, responding to and resolving any potential problems and/or issues.
- Follow up with clients to determine level of satisfaction.
- Participation in initial site visits, preliminary bid meetings, proposal presentations, work site visits, departmental meetings and various other meetings where participation and presence is required.
- Maintain current awareness and continued training of all current and new audio visual and control equipment capabilities, features, specifications, and requirements for installation and operation.
Base Salary Range: $72,500/yr - $107,500/yr. This represents the low and high end of the company's base salary range for this position. Actual base salary range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience. *This role also qualifies for a commission plan*
