Must-Have: Knowledge of skilled licensed practical nursing procedures, pharmacology, and client/patient care.

Job Description:

- Administer nursing care within the scope of practice under the direction of a registered nurse or licensed physician.
- Perform medical tasks such as administering oxygen, inserting catheters, and providing medication instructions.
- Maintain medication accountability, including preparing and counting medications, observing and documenting patient conditions, and preparing reports and records.
- Provide direct nursing care, including taking vital signs, assisting with personal grooming and hygiene, administering topical treatments, and repositioning patients.
- Assist with patient activities, appointments, and recreational activities.
- Offer guidance and training to lower-level direct care staff in providing unskilled nursing care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nurses' station and medication room.
- Perform clerical tasks such as answering phones and filing.

This position requires strong skills in using medical equipment, understanding practical nursing, and demonstrating the ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
