**Must-Have:** Ability to attend orientation on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 8:30 am until approximately noon. Must report with a valid driver's license, and personal items must be in a clear plastic bag. No cell phones or smart watches allowed inside the institution.

**Job Description:**

- Prepare dialysate according to established procedures and prescriptions.
- Obtain and document pre-dialysis vital signs, including weight and temperature.
- Inspect and prepare patient dialysis access and initiate dialysis following protocols.
- Measure, calculate, and adjust blood flow rates in line with protocols and prescriptions.
- Administer anticoagulants according to protocols and prescriptions.
- Change fluid removal rates and patient positions, and administer Normal Saline as directed.
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions accurately.
- Communicate patient conditions and issues promptly.
- Monitor equipment, respond to alarms, and adjust treatment parameters as needed.
- Respond to dialysis-related emergencies and initiate CPR in critical situations.
- Discontinue dialysis and establish hemostasis per unit protocol.
- Obtain and record post-dialysis vital signs.
- Verify absence of residual sterilants and prepare fluid samples for testing and shipping.
- Discard dialysis supplies and sanitize equipment according to protocols.
- Address emotional, medical, psychosocial, and nutritional concerns with the RN or ALP.
- Instruct patients regarding vascular access care under the direction of a nurse.
- Ensure adequate patient care supplies and monitor inventories.
- Assist the nursing staff in administering basic treatments.
- Maintain professional conduct, communication skills, and confidentiality.
- Participate in the multidisciplinary process and review lab work and physician orders.
- Perform basic clinical procedures such as changing bandages.
- Prepare and care for dialysis equipment before and after treatment.
- Test monitor and machine functions, including alarms, conductivity, and temperature.
- Complete flow sheets for patient billing verification.
- Comply with policies and procedures according to state and federal regulations.
- Participate in quality assurance and cost containment programs.
- Engage in individual and group projects as directed by management.

This position offers the flexibility of having Sundays off and one additional day, which will be determined during the orientation phase.
