$28-32/hr.

About the role:

The Clinical Assistant Team Lead is a key member of our clinical team, responsible for providing all aspects of clinical patient care in a professional, efficient, and caring manner. The Clinical Assistant Team Lead is responsible to ensure efficient operation of the clinic daily.

What you will be doing - key responsibilities:
  • Managing the patient experience through exceptional customer service
  • Managing inventory, order supplies, receive orders and stocking the clinic.
  • Managing morning huddles, preparing the clinic for patients, and mentoring junior staff.
  • Take intra-oral records and radiographs.
  • Provide exceptional dental/orthodontic assisting skills to our clinical team.
  • Perform Invisalign scans.
  • Sterilization of instruments by adhering to the infection control protocols.
  • Provide oral health education to our patients and families and the ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice.

What you bring - qualifications:
  • EFODA and/or Registered Dental Assistant are preferred, however willing to train the right candidate to earn these credentials.
  • Good understanding of relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Previous experience as a Team Lead within a dental/orthodontic clinic is preferred.
  • Proficiency with orthodontic/dental management software systems is preferred, but not required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community.
  • Keen attention-to-detail and time management skills.
