Sales Account Executive

The Gazette, a trusted Eastern Iowa news leader for over 140 years, seeks a passionate and results-oriented Sales Account Executive to join our team. This role will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and supporting the sales team. This individual will be responsible for coordinating sales activities, generating leads, and closing deals.
Responsibilities
- Sales Coordination:
- Manage sales pipeline and track sales progress
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process and beyond
- Outbound Sales:
- Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and other prospecting techniques
- Identify prospects and determine their potential fit for specific products or services
- Prepare sales presentations and proposals
You'll be a great fit if you have:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales or customer service.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A positive and energetic attitude. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey the value proposition of The Gazette's advertising solutions
- A results-driven mindset with a strong work ethic and a dedication to exceeding sales targets
- A collaborative and team-oriented work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
