About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Account Sales Representative to join our team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This individual will be responsible for promoting and selling outdoor advertising services to qualified advertisers in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by targeting businesses in the assigned area and visiting established Lamar clients as well as competitor's clients.
  • Exhibit working knowledge of local and national competition and identify potential growth areas.
  • Develop new product knowledge and selling skills to effectively present to clients.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of clients and sales activity.
What We Offer
  • A Monday-Friday schedule with paid holidays and a combination of time spent in-office and selling in the field.
  • First-year earning potential of $50,000 - $80,000 including commissions, dependent on experience and selling ability.
  • A commission-based pay structure with no commission cap, so earning potential is unlimited as you grow your book of business.
  • Monthly auto and cell allowances for work-related expenses.
Requirements
  • Current and Valid Driver's License required.
  • College Degree preferred.
  • Previous Outdoor Advertising sales experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CRTM experience preferred.
