Lead Advisor

Advises individuals and provides guidance services regarding complex issues of assigned area. Work is performed under minimal supervision in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

* Practice experience (at least 5 years) in the general areas of pharmacy operations.
* Competent in the compounding of sterile and nonsterile pharmaceuticals in accordance with all state and federal regulations.
* Demonstrates knowledge and adherence to all requirements in the preparation of both hazardous and nonhazardous preparations.
* Competent in computer data entry of intravenous and no intravenous medication orders.
* Accountable for professional growth and development; seeking opportunities for continued learning by attending local and state pharmacy organization meetings.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree plus three (3) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or progressively responsible related experience to equal seven (7) years.
* Current certification as Certified Pharmacy Technician. ASHP/ACPE IV certification.
