The Onboarding Manager for Financial Advisors plays a crucial role in overseeing the department responsible for the integration of new advisor recruits and 1099 personnel into Level Four Wealth Management. This position collaborates closely with Human Resources, Business Development, and Compliance Teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for W2 advisors.

Key Responsibilities of the Onboarding Manager:
  • Lead and supervise the Advisor Onboarding team, providing guidance and support.
  • Act as a project manager for the onboarding of new 1099 advisors, ensuring that onboarding objectives are met across departments.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources to facilitate the onboarding of W2 advisors, adhering to established procedures.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with all involved departments.
  • Ensure timely progression through the onboarding Playbook for all recruits.
  • Proactively address issues and facilitate smooth transitions.
  • Work with Human Resources to clarify expectations for W2 advisors.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for enhancing onboarding experiences and processes.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and standards related to advisor transitions.
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador for the company, encouraging new advisors to embrace our values.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
Ideal Candidates for the Onboarding Manager Role Will Have:
Required
  • 5+ years of experience in the Broker/Dealer/RIA industry or back office.
  • Strong communication skills across various departments and levels; comfortable engaging with colleagues regularly.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • A quick learning ability.
Preferred
  • Experience in Advisor Transitions or Onboarding is advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate and meet deadlines calmly and effectively.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience and enthusiasm for training others is preferred.
Additional Assets:
  • Familiarity with Raymond James systems.
  • Experience in Project Management.
