Practicing at the Cleveland Clinic Children's 2 regional hubs, Cleveland Clinic's main campus for subspecialty care, and the Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation, the PHM providers are foundational to the pediatric care provided in Northeast Ohio. Additionally, PHM providers play a pivotal role in the Cleveland Clinic Pediatric postgraduate education programs, providing subspecialty training via their Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship, general pediatric training to residents in the renowned Cleveland Clinic Pediatric residency, and to medical students enrolled in both the Cleveland Clinic's Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), and the traditional CWRU School of Medicine.
Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatric Hospital Medicine preferred. The Pediatric Hospitalist at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level are invited to apply. The ideal candidate is an expert clinician, with dedication to and expertise in education, quality improvement, and/or scholarship, who can work collaboratively within an integrated, multi-specialty organization such as the Cleveland Clinic.
A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with academic accomplishments is expected at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. Generous research opportunities are available within the Lerner Research Institute, and Quality and Continuous Improvement are supported by Cleveland Clinic Children's-dedicated experts. Cleveland Clinic Children's is a tertiary and quaternary referral hospital on the Cleveland Clinic main campus with more than 350 physicians in 55 pediatric medical and surgical specialties providing over 1 million outpatient visits, 20,000+ in-patient admissions, 12,700 surgeries, and accepting over 1,600 transports per year from around the nation and globe. Cleveland Clinic Children's has 429 in-patient beds in its network including its quaternary children's hospital on the main campus, our free-standing Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation, 2 other satellite hospitals across Northeast Ohio, and 43 outpatient clinics.
